About our Speakers
Guest Speaker - Frankie Sheahan

Frankie Sheahan retired in 2009 after 14 successive years with Munster making his debut for them in 1996. He has worn the red jersey over 163 times, scoring over 20 tries. He has played for Ireland 29 times between 2000 and 2007 scoring 5 trys. Frankie has two Heineken Cups Medals, 2 Celtic League Medals, one Celtic Cup and many Interpros to his merit. He also played on two Barbarians tours.
Frankie has since set up a company called Front Row which is a sponsorship and sports management company but also sources guest speakers from sport, comedy, business and politics providing entertainment and motivational speeches.
He has also started a media career commentating with RTE Sport, Setanta, BBC and recently with Sky Sports. He has also written for The Irish Times and regularly for the Sunday Independent.
Jim Williams - Irish League of Credit Unions

Jim Williams is the
Strategic Implementation Manager for the ILCU. He is responsible for delivery, rollout and ongoing operational management of the Credit Union Movement’s ICT Strategy. Primary deliveries include the private credit union broadband network (ILCUnet), and the movement-wide, enterprise business intelligence service (ILCUbis) available to 500 affiliated credit unions in Ireland. Jim is an accomplished senior manager with over 30 years international experience delivering strategic business transformation and technology programs. Jim holds a BA in Mathematics, MS in Computer Science, and Professional Project Management (PMP) certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and IBM Global Services e-Finance. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt, and a former Total Quality Management (TQM) instructor.
The Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) is the representative voice of 397 credit unions in the Republic of Ireland and 103 credit unions in Northern Ireland, with combined assets of €14.1 billion, total savings of €12.2 billion, and 2.98 million members.
Brian Curtis - Dublin City Council
Brian Curtis is the Executive Manager ICT for Dublin City Council. Dublin City Council is the one of the largest public sector bodies in Ireland and is seen as one of the premier city authorities in Europe. Brian manages a complex IT and telecommunications system that assist in the supply of nearly five hundred services by 6,500 staff. The ICT role in DCC is more business orientated than pure technology with business change being a key element of responsibilities for the last few years. Brian while initially qualified in civil engineering has worked in ICT since 1989 including areas such as computerised hydraulic modelling and GIS before moving into the main stream ICT function. Brian has worked in the private and public sectors in ICT since the mid nineties and is currently responsible for the full ICT function in DCC.
